MY STORY
Triathlon: what a perfect combination of 3 beautiful and so highly demanding sports!
My passion for sport started thanks to a decathlete father and a triathlete mother. Sport accompanied me throughout the years by training and competing, obtaining a Sport Science University degree, and teaching at the local running school.
My journey started in 2008 when I dedicated myself entirely to running. During the 8 following years I escalated the national hierarchy and managed to become the Swiss Champion in the 5000m, 3000m Steeplechase and Cross-Country distances. Also, I was lucky enough to represent Switzerland at many international events, including the U23 European Championships and the Cross-Country Military World Championships.
Between 2014 and 2017 I experienced several injuries that prevented me from training with consistency. This is why during the summer of 2017 I decided to participate in a triathlon. After a two-year break-in time, I started to compete in the medium distance circuit (IRONMAN 70.3) which turned out to be spot on, as I ended up winning the three half-ironman (70.3) races I competed in. These results allowed me to obtain the PRO license and therefore to compete in the professional IRONMAN field from 2020 on.
